"The Colour of Sound"

Each season has a unique frequency that, when matched, can directly translate into the sound and colour spectrum.
Using this technique, these paintings were created; each painting represents a season.
The notes that matched the frequency of the sound around the given site (in Little Rock, AR) were then compared to the colour spectrum.

In these paintings, the most frequent sounds of the given site are expressed through the wave length and pitch, as well as scale, of the season.

The paintings inspired several study models that focused on depth of light, shadows and movement.

This is the inverse of "Winter".
